We're closed to most students
The Government is asking parents to keep children at home whenever possible – schools remain open only for children who need to attend.

The academy has a dedicated dance studio on the top floor which enables pupils to learn in the best possible facilities. The multi-tiered auditorium also provides them with an exquisite performance space.

What does our curriculum include?

All pupils learn dance as a discrete subject in Key Stage 3 with lessons being taught by a dance specialist. At Key Stage 4, Dance is taught as an option subject. A range of different styles of dance are both taught and catered for.

The extra-curricular provision is strong with a range of different dance clubs, as well as the department having strong links with external organisations such as Chameleon Dance. This provides our pupils with unique opportunities to showcase and experience different styles of dance, watch dance being performed by professional dancers, and to develop their choreography. Dance shows are a regular feature of the academy calendar, and over the last two years.
