We’re delighted to be in this year’s Parliamentary Review
We were thrilled to be one of the eleven North of England Secondary Schools featured in this year’s Parliamentary Review.
The Parliamentary Review is an annual publication which is sent to all schools across the country. The purpose of the review is to share the excellent practice that is happening within schools so that schools are able to continue to learn from each other, regardless of where they are across the country.
Our article focuses on the importance that we put on ensuring that all our pupils receive an excellent education and how we ensure that we equip each of our pupils to go on to lead both a happy and successful life. With a clear link to our vision and a strong focus on the importance that we give to our wider curriculum offer, the article shares with others what makes our academy unique and a great place to learn. The article says,
‘Schools are places where eyes are opened to possibilities that we may never even have known existed before, but which can bring happiness and success to individuals and their families and positive changes to the communities in which we live.’
Copies of the Parliamentary Review will be sent to all schools across the country and will also be available for you to read in our academy reception. We have already been contacted by other schools and individuals who would like to visit us and find out more about what we do and to see the school in action. It is always fantastic to be able to discuss approaches to education with visitors from other schools. If you would like to visit us, then please do contact the academy on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be delighted to show you around the school.
