Art

Our Art curriculum offers every pupil an opportunity to build success and create a love for the subject. It builds on pupils’ strengths and develops other areas so that they can become successful artists with an appreciation culture and diversity.

Design Technology

​Design technology at the Co-op Academy North Manchester is more than a practical subject. The knowledge gained from learning the subject allows pupils to understand how the world around them has been created. Design technology is the process of inventing or improving things to satisfy practical needs and solve practical problems.

History is not only written, it is re-written by every generation. However brilliant an exploration of the past is, it will always be influenced by the historian’s background and identity. The next generation – perhaps you – may ask different questions, look for different sources, and write it differently.


Hospitality & Catering 

The hospitality and catering sector include all businesses that provide food, beverages, and/or accommodation services. According to the British Hospitality Association, hospitality and catering is Britain’s third largest industry and accounts for around 10% of the total workforce.

Physical Education

Physical Education gives our pupils the ability to take part, not only as players but as leaders and officials. It gives them the skills needed in their day-to-day life, the opportunity for individual growth and to achieve their full potential.
