Free School Meals

In the past, Manchester City Council have been able to tell us which pupils are entitled to free school meals based on their records of who receives benefits such as housing benefit and council tax support.

However, from 11th of June 2018 they no longer do this; the introduction of Universal Credit means that people will no longer claim these benefits.

It is very important that we know who is entitled to Free School Meals, not only so that we can provide your child with a lunch free of charge, but also because we receive additional funding, which we use to support your child to lead a happy and successful life.

From 1st of April 2018 the only way we will know if we should give your child free school meals is if you check your eligibility online via the link below:

Please specify the school as Co-op Academy North Manchester when completing the form.

We ask that parents/carers share the confirmation of their eligibility to allow the admin team to update the system. Proof of eligibility can be emailed to noma-enquiries@coopacademies.co.uk or brought into the academy.
