    It is with great pleasure that we invite parents and carers to our Year 9 Options Evening on Thursday 6th March from 4.00pm - 6.30pm. At Co-op Academy North Manchester we are very proud of the variety of courses we are able to offer pupils at Key Stage 4 and believe it is important that we equip parents and carers with all the information they need to make the right decisions for them and their child in preparation for next academic year.

  • Co-op North Manchester’s Spectacular Production of Moana JR. Wows Audiences

    Our pupils set sail on a breathtaking theatrical journey as they brought Disney’s Moana JR. to life on stage over three unforgettable nights, from the 12th to the 14th of February 2025. In addition to the evening performances, a special matinee show was held exclusively for the pupils of Charlestown Primary School, ensuring the magic of live theatre reached young audiences.

    We are excited to introduce a groundbreaking new resource as part of a 12-month pilot scheme aimed at supporting Year 10 and 11 pupils with their GCSE studies: Pearson Revise. This advanced platform grants pupils access to a comprehensive selection of digital GCSE revision guides and resources, equipping them with the tools they need to prepare effectively for their exams.

  • Year 11 Progress Evening, Tuesday 11th February 2025

    We are delighted to invite parents and carers to our Year 11 Progress Evening.

    Events such as these play a key role in ensuring strong partnerships between the academy and home.  This is even more important than ever as we approach the end of the Class of 2025's time at Co-op Academy North Manchester. The event will now take place on Tuesday 11th February 2025 from 3.30pm - 6.30pm. Please note that this is a change from the originally published date of Thursday 6th February.  If this change presents an issue, do not worry.  Simply contact noma-enquiries@coopacademies.co.uk to let us know and we will contact parents and carers directly.  Appointments will be available from Monday 3rd February.

  • The National Holocaust Museum Visits Co-op Academy North Manchester for Special Workshops and Survivor Talk

    On Tuesday, January 21st, Co-op Academy North had the privilege of welcoming The National Holocaust Museum for a profound day of education and remembrance. Year 9 pupils, along with selected Year 10 and 11 GCSE pupils, participated in insightful workshops and had the rare opportunity to hear a moving testimony from Holocaust survivor Martin Stern. The day offered an impactful and thought-provoking experience for all involved.

    My last Digest and my final few words to you and your families. It’s been a really difficult decision to move away from a school that I have worked in for over a decade, and yet I am going with such an incredible sense of pride in all that has been achieved. Our values and our vision are in action every single day, and it was a real highlight this week, particularly to see so many pupils being rewarded for their excellent attendance and attitudes once again.

  • GCSE Certificate Collection

    We are pleased to inform the Class of 2024 that their exam certificates for Summer 2024 are now available for collection. We will be holding a small celebration on Wednesday 22nd January 2025, where the Class of 2024 are invited to collect certificates and celebrate with staff members that are able to join the event. We will share details on the timings of the event following the Christmas break.
