Start of Term Arrangements for September 2024

We are looking forward to welcoming pupils back to the academy in September for the new school year.

Pupils in Year 7 return on Wednesday 4th September

Pupils in Years 8-11 return on Thursday 5th September

School will open at 8am and our dedicated staff will be on duty at the front and back of school to meet and greet pupils.  Pupils can arrive at school via the front using the Victoria Avenue gate or via the back using the Hinchley Road gate but will enter the school building through the Yellow Winter Garden to the rear of the building.

As ever, free breakfast is available each day for all pupils in the dining room from 8am.  Pupils should remain in the dining room area and use the toilets on the Orange ground floor.

We would like to remind pupils and their parents / carers that school opens each day at 8am.  Pupils should not arrive at school before this time.

Pupils should move to their form rooms at 8:30am when the movement bell rings.  Form time will start at 8:35am where pupils will meet their tutors, receive their planners and their new school timetables.

We expect all our pupils to have their full school uniform, be fully prepared and ready to learn.  As we start the new academic year we would like to take this opportunity to remind pupils and their families about our school's uniform policy.  The school uniform policy can be found here Co-op Academy North Manchester - Uniform.  It is really important that on the first day back that all pupils are fully prepared with key items including a school bag, the academy blazer, a tie and all their stationary and equipment.

Please also see details of the academy day which can be found on the school website Co-op Academy North Manchester - The Academy Day (coopacademies.co.uk).

f you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 0161 681 1592 or via email at noma-enquiries@coopacademies.co.uk.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer break, and we look forward to seeing the pupils back in September.

Yours sincerely,

Mr A Burkitt

Vice Principal
