As part of the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign, The Great British Spring Clean, staff and pupil volunteers from Co-op Academy North Manchester came together to make a difference in our local community. This annual event highlights the importance of keeping our surroundings clean, green and sustainable, and this year, our academy embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and pride.
Our dedicated volunteers joined forces with other local community members and the City Council for a litter pick around the surrounding area. This initiative not only helped to improve the cleanliness of our environment but also demonstrated our collective commitment to protecting the spaces we work, live and care about.
Through their hard work, our staff and pupils have shown that small actions can lead to big changes, and that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. We are proud of their efforts in supporting this important campaign and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on our local environment.
Together, we can keep our community clean and green!
Mrs Mclean, Assistant Vice Principal, Community and Engagement added:
“We are incredibly proud of our Year 7 volunteers and the commitment they have shown towards working together with our community to improve the local area for us all. Even the smallest actions can have a huge impact on our environment.”
