Originally from Birmingham, I studied in my home city and completed my degree in English Literature at The University of Birmingham. After university, I moved to the Peak District and then to Manchester, where I worked in industry before completing my PGCE in 2009 at The University of Manchester. Deciding to pursue a career in education has been one of the best decisions of my life and now daily I enjoy working in the profession which shapes all others, in the company of ambitious students at the start of their own individual journeys.  Having worked in a variety of school settings, from selective, to rural and urban schools in a multifaceted range of roles, I am now extremely proud to be Principal at Co-op Academy North Manchester.
