Pupils: Report Concerns

If you, a friend or anyone else is concerned that someone might be at immediate risk of harm you must tell a member of staff as soon as you can.

You can approach any member of staff and share this information with them. It could be a teacher, a member of the pastoral team, an office assistant, a kitchen assistant or a cleaner. You can speak to any adult in the academy.

All members of staff at the academy know the correct procedures to follow to keep everyone safe. If you or the person you are concerned about are not at risk of immediate danger and don’t feel able to tell a member of staff then you can report by be emailing noma-showyoucare@coopacademies.co.uk.

At Co-op Academy North Manchester you should:

  • be reassured that you are being taken seriously
  • be supported and kept safe
  • never be given the impression that you are creating a problem by reporting an incident
  • never be made to feel ashamed for making a report
  • be told what will happen next and who the information will be shared with

Confidentiality can never be promised but we shall do all we can to limit who the information is shared with to those who need to know.
